Accessibility Policy & Procedures

Our Commitment

AzenCare LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards. Our goal is that all individuals — regardless of ability — can access, navigate, and benefit from the AzenCare platform.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines helps make the web more user-friendly for all people.

Accessibility Features

AzenCare has implemented or is actively working to implement the following accessibility features:

  • Keyboard Navigation: All core functionality is accessible via keyboard without requiring a mouse.
  • Screen Reader Support: Semantic HTML, ARIA labels, and descriptive alt text for images support assistive technologies.
  • Color Contrast: Text and interface elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratio requirements.
  • Resizable Text: Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
  • Focus Indicators: Visible focus indicators help keyboard users navigate the interface.
  • Descriptive Links: Links are written to make sense out of context for screen reader users.
  • Form Labels: All form fields have associated labels and descriptive error messages.

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas of the platform are still being improved. Known limitations include:

  • Some third-party embedded content (e.g., payment forms) may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. We work with vendors to address these gaps.
  • Telehealth video features (coming soon) will be developed with accessibility as a core requirement.

We are actively working to address these limitations and appreciate your patience.

Assistive Technologies Supported

AzenCare is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • Screen readers: NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), TalkBack (Android)
  • Voice control: Dragon NaturallySpeaking, Voice Control (macOS/iOS)
  • Browser zoom and text magnification
  • High contrast mode (Windows and browser extensions)
